I went on the dig at the village primary and what a lovely day we had. each class came out in turn, including reception and they were very enthusiastic helping and asking lots of questions.
And everyone was very excited because almost as soon as we started an old coin was found. I think it was 1799 and the children were amazed at something that was 200 years old.

It was lovely to see students at Fairfield College at the dig on their land helping to excavate and ask questions. One student in particular was well informed and asked some very good questions.
