Margaret Beaufort, Mother of the Tudor Dynasty
Following a period of great uncertainty for the history society, as regards when and how we might arrange future talks and activities, I’m pleased to say we are now in a position to commence a programme of talks.
Historian, Nicola Tallis, has agreed to give a talk on “Margaret Beaufort, mother at 13 years of age of Henry VII.
Her research and manner of presenting this remarkable woman will I have no doubt prove an absolute winner.
Talk will be on 29th October, 7.30 pm, at the Dilton Memorial Hall.
