Martin Brown Assistant County Archaeologist will be speaking on the preparations for trench warfare in WW1. Martin has been engaged for some two years now in excavations on Salisbury Plains, exposing a range of evidence and artifacts which give us some idea into the lives of those soldiers about to be sent to France.
